The finishing treatment in Reima Xylitol Cool material gives a cooling sensation against the skin. In addition, the skin surface temperature will actually drop by 1 to 3 degrees. The cooling effect is based on xylitol and erythritol, which are edible sweeteners, so it's harmless.
